Mumbai Metro Route & Map
Mumbai Metro is an urban Mass Rapid Transit System; it consists of 10 lines, which are constructed to serve Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, and is known as the largest city. The Maha Mumbai Metro Operations Corporation (MMMOCL) agency came to the limelight for maintaining and operating all Mumbai metro service lines, which were owned by MMRDA in 2019. A master plan was unveiled by MMRDA, and a new 337 km plan was added for the construction of the metro route. The Maha Mumbai Metro's network consists of a total number of 17 stations.
On 11 April 2024, Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd announced a new ticketing pattern for Mumbai Metro One passengers. Now, commuters are getting the opportunity to scan a QR-coded wristband at (AFC), which is the automated fare collection at the metro station gate. The wristband is also called TapTap, and you don't have to carry it. You can wear it on your wrist. Now let us tell you how the wristband was made; it consists of a silicone-based element that is non-allergic and does not irritate the human skin. It’s waterproof and can be washed too.
The Mumbai metro has launched an offer in which Rs. 200 is available at every customer care window near the VAG corridor. Passengers who travel from the Mumbai metro can recharge their wristband just like the store value pass that is in use. After the recharge, passengers can simply tap their wristband at the AFC gates of Line 1 and continue their journey without any issue.
