The Punjabi Bagh Metro Station is located on the Green Line of Delhi Metro in the neighborhood of west Delhi. This metro station was inaugurated on 2nd April 2010 and it is an elevated platform. The Punjabi Bagh Metro Station bypasses Tikri Border to enter Bahadurgarh and travel along the congested NH 9 route in North West Delhi.
The Delhi metro network added a new interchange station on 29th March 2022 and became operational while connecting the pink and green lines of the Delhi metro. There are about 18,000 commuters who travel daily from this metro station. It used to take longer than usual as the commuters had to change the green line to the blue line before getting on the pink line. After coming to the pink line the passengers can travel anywhere consisting of Majlis Park Shiv Vihar pink corridor which is at a distance of 59 km. A foot-like overbridge links the platform to this metro station. The Punjabi Bagh Metro Station is popular for some famous nearby areas such as Take-off Scarlet, Tornade, and Veranda moonshine therefore there are some famous restaurants, parks, shopping malls, lounges, bars, etc.
