The AIIMS metro station is located in Sri Aurobindo Marg, Ansari Nagar East, New Delhi 110029. This metro line is owned by Delhi Metro and operated by DMRC. The platforms that are linked with the AIIMS metro station are Platform-1 HUDA City Centre and Platform-2 Samaypur Badli.
There are two tracks connected with AIIMS metro stations. The structure of this metro station is underground and Double – Track. It's been 14 years since the construction of the AIIMS metro station. This metro station connects with many popular places like Dilli Haat which is a famous marketplace of Delhi for shopping, delicious foods, malls, etc.
The second one is AIIMS which is one of the finest medical research hospitals and universities in India, AIIMS hospital is located very close to the metro station. It is about 1.6 km, if you are walking then you can reach there in 20 minutes. Old Delhi railway station is also connected with AIIMS metro station, you can reach there by taking a metro from this station and moving towards Samaypur Badli yellow line platform number 2 to get down at Chandni Chowk. It only takes about 20 minutes to reach Chandni Chowk from AIIMS metro station.
The last Indira Gandhi International Airport the AIIMS metro line connects the Airport which is four stations away from the metro station.
