Mayur Vihar Phase 1 metro station is a station located on the pink line and blue line of delhi metro. It serves the place of Mayur Vihar in East Delhi, and is located within walking distance of Mayur Vihar Pocket-I and Pocket-IV. The Pink Line station of MV-1 is the tallest metro station of Delhi Metro, with platforms at a peak of 22 meters. As of October 2023, it has the fastest developing ridership at the network, with its day-by-day footfall growing by 163% relative to October 2019.
The station is 140 m (460 ft) long and has been built at the slender KhudiRam Bose Marg with only 13 m (43 feet) of width, a constraint that caused its designers choosing a single pier - the chandelier fashion station design - with one pillar branching out into columns. This was the first time that this kind of design was used on the Delhi Metro network. The stations of each line are connected by a 83 m (272 feet) long footbridge.
