The dhaula kuan metro station is situated on the line of delhi metro. This station is the simplest accelerated one alongside the Airport Express Line and features test-in centers. It did not start operations together with the rest of the road and trains ran through the station without stopping first of all. It was opened to the public for the first time on Independence Day, 15 August 2011.

Under the Phase III network, the Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus metro station was built. A 1.2 km skywalk linking the two stations was opened to the public on 9 February 2019.
