The Indira Gandhi International Airport Metro station is a part of the Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro. It connects terminals 2 and 3 of IGI Airport, and it is located on the Orange Line of a metro station. On 18th September 2018, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the extension of the Delhi Airport metro line, which now connects with the Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 station. This extension adds up to 2km to the Airport Line, which improves the urban connectivity. The airport express line's operational speed has increased to about 120km/h, which decreases travel times.
